Ian Massingham was working for East Anglia Food Link as Organic Production Advisor when the first ideas for an organic growers cooperative in the region started to become a reality. After helping in the recruitment of the original (producer) members he eventually became a grower member himself, supplying vegetables and salads to Eostre for its own local markets and box schemes, his own box scheme plus his fruit and vegetable stall at on the Town Square in Downham Market.

Ian doesn't have his own farm but uses land on Lucio Salas's farm, Edgebank Organics at Emneth near Wisbech, in exchange for labour.

Ian's stall has been attracting increasing numbers of customers, most of whom are now faithful regulars. In 2005 he added a new service in the form of an organic fruit and veg box delivery scheme centred in Downham Market and delivering to homes within a 6 or 7 mile radius.

The stall operates from 9am - 3pm every Friday on the Town Square at the junction of the high street and Bridge Street and details of the box scheme can be obtained from Ian on 07967 346 551 or 01366 385 523
